“Attractive from every angle” is how car maker Peugeot advertises its latest model. An innovative promotion in Leipzig’s Paunsdorf Center brought this strapline to life over two days at the end of April: The first thing visitors to the shopping destination saw after passing through the entrance during the promotion period was the new Peugeot 408. The French car manufacturer’s brand promotion was housed in the middle of the shopping destination’s light-flooded atrium and attracted the attention of car lovers and those with an eye for stunning design.

New angles on sporty design

The hybrid version of the Peugeot 408 was staged in the main area of the Paunsdorf Center in a box mirrored on the inside. Openings on three sides allowed visitors streaming into the atrium through the entrance or from the mall to catch a direct glimpse of the gleaming metallic car within. People descending the escalator from the upper floor also saw the car roof shimmering in the daylight in its topless box. This promptly aroused curiosity among the visitors!

Even from the outside, the stand walls showed first impressions of the model’s vibrant details. Upon entering the small hall of mirrors, visitors were then able to see how the brand lives up to its strapline, as each step they took gave them a new angle on the new Peugeot 408. This classy presentation of the vehicle focused entirely on the design, and no detail was hidden.

Thanks to the innovative promotion, the exhibition model of the sporty fastback in ‘Ossessione Blue’ proved a real hit with the younger male audience in particular, which had the opportunity to examine the car enthusiastically inside and out. And for anyone wanting more, experienced promotion staff were on hand with all the advice and guidance one could ask for.

Other stops in URW centres

Peugeot’s first promotion in a URW destination attracted many visitors who were keen to get ‘up close and personal’ with the Peugeot 408 in its unusual mirrored environment. Following these promising encounters, more stops are planned in URW destinations for Peugeot’s roadshow. The Westfield Rise team is delighted to announce that Peugeot will soon be coming to Westfield Centro in Oberhausen, to the Palais Vest in Recklinghausen and to the Ruhr Park in Bochum.
