Sustainable coffee breaks with “CoffeeB”

Keyfacts
  • Impressive pop-up store in warm wood tones
  • Free samples for tasting
  • Cosy lounge as a feel-good atmosphere for relaxation

The CoffeeB brand from Café Royal in Switzerland is raising the bar with its sustainable, compostable products – and not a plastic capsule in sight. Visitors to Wilma Shoppen in Berlin had the opportunity to try these innovative new products and convince themselves of their taste and quality between 8 May and 3 June 2023. At an inviting pop-up stand on the ground floor of the shopping destination, CoffeeB employees served free samples to visitors during the promotional period and presented the zero-plastic system behind the products.

Shopping break in a feel-good atmosphere

Even from a distance, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the ground floor of Wilma Shoppen as comfortable, seating in harmonious wood tones grouped around small tables invited visitors to the Berlin shopping centre to linger a while, and the new coffee could also be tested free of charge whilst lounging around on beanbags.

Smell, feel and taste – all the senses were addressed at the prominently positioned pop-up store on the ground floor of Wilma Shoppen. But the focus was clearly on the taste experience in a cosy café-lounge atmosphere. Switching off and simply letting one’s mind wander – this presentation concept was very well received by Wilma shoppers.

The capsule system with its innovative coffee balls – fully biodegradable – was also a highlight, putting CoffeeB fully in line with the sustainability trend. Anyone wanting to discover more about the brand’s sustainable product range was able to do so at a totem fitted with a built-in touchpad, also in wood tones, and experienced staff were on hand to answer any questions.

Roadshow planned in more Westfield Rise destinations

The Swiss company knew how to inspire visitors to Wilma Shoppen in Berlin with free coffee in sustainable packaging. After an initial taste test, interested parties could then purchase the capsules directly at the Edeka store in the centre and take them home. Visitors to Ruhrpark Bochum and Westfield Centro in Oberhausen can also look forward to leisurely shopping breaks when the CoffeeB roadshow brings its pop-up store to these destinations as well.
