Sustainable mobility is very much in vogue. South Korean car manufacturer KIA is also aware of this and presented its latest electric vehicle, the EV9, at Westfield Centro in Oberhausen in November. KIA opened the doors of its new family SUV in the Mitteldom to all interested visitors over a four-day period from 8 to 11 November. Combined with a week-long media campaign, the promotion attracted the attention of more than just car enthusiasts.

Modern features just waiting to be discovered

The brand promotion in the Mitteldom was impossible to miss, with a campaign area right next to the escalator where the ultra-modern EV9 in stylish Ocean Blue invited visitors to the shopping destination to take a closer look and explore. The 360-degree UDS screen and digital screens also promoted the campaign.

Everyone at the venue was able to see the features and design of the EV9 for themselves and scrutinise every nook and cranny of the electric SUV: from the swivelling rear seats to the all-electric motor and the family-friendly design, there was a lot to discover.

There was another highlight in store for visitors for the complete brand experience: using VR goggles, they were able to experience the car and its features from the inside in virtual reality and discover even more details. Experienced advisors were on hand throughout in the promotion area to answer any questions and provide information. Comfortable seating areas also invited visitors to linger and chat.

Reserving test drives by mobile phone

But, as the saying goes, the proof of the pudding is in the eating: naturally the presentation of this ultra-modern family car also included the offer of a test drive. Using the QR codes provided, all visitors were able to secure their personal EV9 experience online. Simply and easily.
