Inauguration delayed until August 2024 The inauguration of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier will be delayed until the end of August. As part of final checks of the project, an isolated water leak was identified in a technical area in the basement which postpones the administrative process required for the public opening. The Group is working with its partners and engineers to address the issue over the coming weeks.

"Opening task force" ready for the grand opening Just another month to go to the grand opening of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier on 25 April! Two members of the gang will be on site from 8 April, followed by a third member on 15 April. They'll be actively assisting and supporting the quarter's management team as part of the official opening task force. They'll be on hand for everything that still needs to be organized during the busy final lead-up to the opening itself.

Second Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier Partner Event Around 90 rental partners took the opportunity to network and share ideas in our showroom at the Rental Partner event on 15 February. Together with lead agency Jung von Matt, the Westfield Rise team provided information on the marketing opportunities and the grand opening on 25 April. Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier manager Theda Juliane Mustroph and her management team were also on hand to answer any questions.

Grand Opening on April 25! The date for the grand opening celebration of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier has been set! On April 25, the quarter’s retail, F&B and leisure areas will open in the HafenCity. And we expect a full house – because almost 90 per cent of these areas has already been let. In recent weeks, URW has brought a further 25 partner brands on board. Only a few units are still available.

Tenant event At an exclusive event at the end of October, future tenants met with representatives of the city quarter management for a nice get-together in a relaxed atmosphere. The Westfield Rise team exclusively presented the future advertising opportunities in the quarter. The successful event ended with a relaxed round of drinks and snacks.

Makers of Moments Hamburg Sneak Preview On 12 October, Westfield Rise hosted an exclusive event with 20 clients and partners. Besides a 360-degree presentation of the project with all its brand promotion and advertising possibilities, the programme also included an exclusive visit to the construction site. The team is absolutely delighted with the way the event turned out.
