As the “world street of furs”, the Brühl shaped Leipzig’s reputation as a trading metropolis at an early stage. In 1813 the composer Richard Wagner was born in the inn “Zum roten und weißen Löwen” on the Brühl. This is exactly where the shopping center opened its doors to visitors in 2012. On a retail area of over 53,350 square meters, visitors can stroll through the numerous stores at this traditional location with a new look.

With its striking and enduring architecture, the cozy ensemble of alleys and courtyards combined with a modern aluminum façade blends in perfectly with the lively inner city of the Saxon metropolis. In the bright, openly designed shopping arcades, customers can expect a varied mix of well-known top brands with a large customer base as well as exclusive boutiques and studios. The center is home to brands in the fashion and beauty, technology and entertainment, leisure and living industries.

An excellent shopping experience

The diverse culinary delights on offer, with local cafés and restaurants and international gastronomy giants, round off a visit to the center, which has carried the coveted 4-star label in its logo since 2016. Management für Immobilen AG awards this honor to malls that meet particularly high-quality criteria for an exceptional shopping experience – such as Bochum’s Ruhr Park, Minto in Mönchengladbach and the Pasing Arcaden in Munich.

Visitors to the centrally located shopping center can look forward to numerous amenities as they stroll around. Sports fans will get their money’s worth in the Sky Football Lounge, the free children’s cinema provides an entertaining break for the little ones and a live pianist plays regularly. Thus, the center is not only a popular meeting point for shopping queens and kings, but also a meeting place for locals, families and tourists. On average, visitors spend more than 1.5 hours here.

Attractive promotion areas for creative presentations

In the Höfe am Brühl with its unique atmosphere, both new and established brands meet a diverse and interested public. The high glass fronts of the stores offer plenty of space for creative product presentations. Unique brand experiences can also be created on the attractive promotion and sales areas in the highly frequented center areas.
