Impressive promotion by Rüschenbeck and Tudor at Westfield Centro

Keyfacts
  • Close partnership between established tenant and partner brand
  • Attention-grabbing stand in the Mitteldom
  • Extensive accompanying media campaign

‘Born to Dare’ is the slogan being used in a month-long campaign by jewellery chain Rüschenbeck in collaboration with Swiss watch manufacturer Tudor at Westfield Centro, whose centerpiece – the Mitteldom – is featuring a modern-style pop-up store in September/October. This high-quality, more sporty alternative to its parent brand Rolex enjoys great popularity among watch fans, with unique models bringing classic design into the new millennium.

All eyes on brand ambassador David Beckham

Tudor is known for sporty, water-resistant watches, so it’s only fitting that the brand ambassador for the ‘Born to Dare’ campaign should be football legend David Beckham. His celebrity face also attracted a lot of attention during the promotion at Westfield Centro. Added to this is an impressive stand design with a classy red-and-black colour scheme featuring the campaign hashtag in large 3D lettering in the centre together with the familiar Tudor logo. The campaign is being accompanied by a strong media campaign using the UDS – the 360° screen plus four LED displays – and with branding on the escalators in the Mitteldom as well as two attention-grabbing giant posters in the car parks.

As a result, visitors to Westfield Centro will not be able to ignore these classic, elegant wristwatches. Incidentally, the brand’s historic diving watches served as inspiration for today’s models. The unique angular ‘snowflake’ hands were used back in the 1970s in watches for the French navy, and are now very much back in fashion. For collectors and fashionistas, the promotion stand offers more than enough choice to shop and browse.

Close partnership between Rüschenbeck and Tudor

The promotion is the watch brand’s first appearance at Westfield Centro. The Rüschenbeck jewellery chain is also making use of the shopping centre’s extensive advertising opportunities for the first time – but it is no stranger to regular mall-goers. In fact, the jeweller is a long-standing tenant and has a store in the immediate vicinity of the promotion area on the first floor. In this collaboration, Rüschenbeck is undertaking targeted advertising for Tudor and also growing awareness of its own business – a win-win for everyone!
