High-sustainability EVs in modern Genesis Mobile Lounge

Keyfacts
  • Mobile showroom for presentation
  • Oversized dimensions
  • 6 models available for test drives

The Korean phrase ‘Son-Nim’ refers to customers being treated like guests. Korean automotive company Genesis has adopted precisely this approach and put it into action impressively in Oberhausen at the end of January. The roadshow which the electric vehicle brand is conducting in conjunction with agency METZLER VATER included a five-day stop at Westfield Centro.

Service, Service, Service

The brand presented its latest EV models in the Genesis Mobile Lounge right in front of the centre, leaving no customer wishes unmet. In fact, the mobile showroom was more reminiscent of a luxurious beach lounge than a car dealership, with expansive glass walls, outdoor LED lighting and bar stools creating a modern, relaxed atmosphere.

Genesis personal assistants were on hand throughout to help interested visitors with specific questions and advice concerning these innovative, environmentally friendly EVs. The promotion also included test drives, with six different car models to choose from. Appointments could easily be made either online or directly onsite.

To ensure no visitor was able to miss this extensive proposition, Genesis also decided to run a digital media campaign in the centre. During the campaign period, the brand used the UDS 360° screen in the ‘Mitteldom’ as well as the LED screen in the popular ‘Coca-Cola Oasis’ food court.

Imposing lounge on a grand scale

The Westfield Rise team spared no effort in enabling this extensive campaign to be staged. In fact, the imposing Mobile Lounge was a real heavyweight, measuring around 15 by 10 metres. The Luise-Albertz-Platz provided an ideal location complete with direct access to the public road network.
